Large Position Reporting Workshop
The Department of the Treasury is offering a workshop regarding Treasury's Large Position Recordkeeping and Reporting Rules.
This course will provide a brief overview of the large position rules and examples of how certain transactions are treated in the LPR calculation. The large position rules apply to all U.S. and foreign entities (with the exception of foreign official organizations and Federal Reserve Banks) that may control a large position in a specified Treasury security. Reporting entities that potentially control such large positions should be familiar with the rules. The workshop will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, 33 Liberty Street, Room 143, New York, NY 10045. The workshop will be offered at two separate sessions:
- May 18th, 2007, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM
- May 18th, 2007, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM
You may only attend one of these sessions. However, firms may send more than one individual to each session.
There is no cost for these sessions. However, you must register in order to be allowed entry into the building. In addition, appropriate photo identification will be required for entry into the building.
